Facts

Many people are unaware of the extent to which human trafficking (slavery) exists in our world today. Most Americans believe that slavery died over 60 years ago making it an irrelevant topic.  We are here to tell you that slavery is alive and well in our society and in our world today.  Here is a fact list put together by International Justice Mission, an organization dedicated to fighting for freedom and justice throughout the world, explaining just how real this evil is:



THE FACTS
• After drug dealing, human trafficking (both sex trafficking and
trafficking for forced labor) is tied with the illegal arms industry as the 
second largest criminal industry in the world today, and it is the fastest

• Worldwide, there are nearly two million children in
the commercial sex trade. (UNICEF)
• There are an estimated 600,000 to 800,000 children, women and men

Our Action

So, what are we doing?  We have chosen to use the gifts and talents God has given us to raise money to start supporting organizations that are actively involved in rescuing those who are enslaved.  We make these beautiful tote bags and 100% of the profits from these bags go directly to an organization in Thailand named the Home of New Beginnings.

Our Mission

Human traffiicking may be the most widespread and pernicious evil in the world today, ruining the lives of countless millions of young women in the U.S and around the world. Because of the gravity and complexity of the issue, one could throw up one's hands in despair, turn away in horror and hope that it would just "go away." However, we have a burden that is driving us to do something, even if only to rescue one woman and to raise awareness. We believe the burden is God-generated and that He shares it with us, since the Bible says: "He will save them from oppression and from violence, for their lives are PRECIOUS to Him."  Psalm 72:14
