Facts

Many people are unaware of the extent to which human trafficking (slavery) exists in our world today. Most Americans believe that slavery died over 60 years ago making it an irrelevant topic.  We are here to tell you that slavery is alive and well in our society and in our world today.  Here is a fact list put together by International Justice Mission, an organization dedicated to fighting for freedom and justice throughout the world, explaining just how real this evil is:



THE FACTS
After drug dealing, human trafficking (both sex trafficking and
trafficking for forced labor) is tied with the illegal arms industry as the 
second largest criminal industry in the world today, and it is the fastest

Worldwide, there are nearly two million children in

There are an estimated 600,000 to 800,000 children, women and men
